CUET UG Exam 2024: According to reports, the CUET UG 2024 exams will be held in a hybrid mode in 2024. The third edition of the CUET UG exams is being conducted in a hybrid mode for students from rural areas who wish to appear for the exams near their hometown.
The CUET UG exam 2024 registrations are expected to begin on February 19, 2024. The National Testing Agency will be releasing the details regarding the CUET UG registration and application process on the official portal soon. Those interested in securing admission to the undergraduate programmes are required to complete the application process within the given period.
CUET UG 2024 Dates
The CUET UG 2024 exams will be held from May 15 to 31, 2024. Approximately 249 universities will accept the CUET UG scores for admissions to undergraduate programmes in the 2024 academic year.

According to reports, major changes are expected to be made in the exam format, number of subjects, and the difficulty level of the exams. An OMR test will be held for subjects with a higher number of applications.
As per reports, exams will be conducted in three shifts, shift 1 will be held from 9 am to 11 am and the second shift will be held from 12:30 to 2 pm. The third shift will be conducted from 4 pm to 5:30 pm. The UGC chairman further added that the hybrid mode will reduce the number of exam days.
According to UGC chairman M Jagadesh Kumar, the exams for specific subjects will be conducted on one day in a single shift across the country. Several schools, colleges, and educational institutions will also be used as exam halls which will benefit students especially those in rural areas as they will not have to travel far to appear for exams.

In 2023, approximately 28 lakh students appeared for the CUET UG exams. The number of choices for subjects was reduced from 10 to 6 since the maximum of students opted for only 4 to 5 papers.
