CUET PG 2024: The National Testing Agency has commenced the registration and application process for the CUET PG 2024 exam. As per the schedule shared, the application link will be available online until January 24, 2024. Candidates preparing to appear for the postgraduate entrance exam in March 2024 can check here the major changes incorporated for the exam this year.
According to the official notification released, the list of participating institutes that will be accepting the scores of CUET PG for admission to the postgraduate programme will be updated until the last day of submission of the applications. Students are advised to keep checking the list. NTA has also increased the registration fee and changed the exam duration for the CUET PG 2024 exam along with a few other changes. The details of the same are provided below.
CUET PG 2024 Changes
- To begin with, the CUET PG 2024 exam duration has been revised. CUET PG exam will be conducted for 1 hour and 45 minutes as opposed to the 2-hour exam conducted in 2023. The exams will be conducted in three shifts. The first shift of the exam will be held from 9 am to 10.45 am, shift 2 from 12:45 pm to 2:30 pm and shift 3 will be conducted from 4:30 pm to 6:15 pm.
- The CUET PG 2024 exam will be conducted in both English and Hindi except for language papers and MTech Higher Sciences and Acharya papers.
- Students can only choose between 4 paper codes to appear for in 2024 as opposed to the maximum choice of 20 paper codes in 2023.
- The total number of questions has also been reduced from 100 to 75.
- Changes have been made to the registration fee to be submitted by candidates. As opposed to the Rs 1000 registration fee to be submitted by students from the general category in 2023, the fee for students from the general category for the 2024 exam is Rs. 1200. There is also an increase of Rs. 200 in the registration fee for the students from the OBC-NCL/Gen-EWS for the CUET PG 2024 exam.
