CLAT 2025 Counselling Registration: The Consortium of National Law Universities will begin the registration for CLAT 2025 counselling today, December 11, 2024. According to the schedule, the link for students to register for the counselling process will begin at 10 am on the official website. Students who have cleared CLAT 2025 can participate in the counselling process for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes offered by 24 National Law Universities in India.
The last date for students to register for CLAT 2025 counselling is December 20, 2024. The link will remain active until 10:00 P.M. Students applying must make sure they have all their documents ready to upload for the counselling verification process. Based on merit, the CLAT 2025 First Allotment List will be announced on December 26, 2024. Students allotted seats in the first counselling round must report to the allotted NLUs with all necessary documents from December 26, 2024, to January 4, 2025.

CLAT 2025 Counselling: Registration and Application Process
According to the counselling instructions issued, eligible candidates will be invited to participate in the admission counselling process as per the rank list and the admission matrix provided by each NLU. students will receive an email invitation to participate in the admission counselling process on their registered email ID. Students will also receive an SMS on their registered mobile number and an invitation on their CLAT 2025 portal.
Candidates are required to login to their CLAT account on the official website and validate that they have been invited for the counselling during each round.
To complete their registration for the Admissions Counselling Process, candidates must pay the Counselling Registration Fee by 10.00 PM on December 20, 2024 and complete the following 2 steps:
Step 1: Update NLU Preferences
- Login to the CLAT account and click on ‘Update NLU Preference’ link
- Click and update the NLU preference as required
- Review the different programmes and seat matrix
- Provide a maximum of 15 preferences
Step 2: May payment of counselling registration fee
- Complete the fee payment by clicking on ‘Make Payment’ (Only visible if selected for admission counselling process)
- Submit the counselling registration fee by December 20
