CLAT 2021: NLU Consortium will conduct the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 on 23rd July from 2 to 4 pm. The exam will be held in offline mode.

CLAT 2021: According to the announcement made by the Consortium of National Law Universities, the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2021) will be conducted on July 23, 2021. As per the announcement made, the CLAT 2021 examinations will be conducted offline (Pen and Paper mode). The CLAT 2021 examinations were earlier scheduled to be conducted on May 9, 2021, but the exams were postponed due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

CLAT 2021 Exam Time

As per the latest update, the duration of the exam will be of two hours. The exam will start at 2 pm and conclude at 4 pm. CLAT 2021 will be held in a physical/ offline mode. Also, the candidates will be given a chance to revisit their preference of the test centre after the last date of submission of the filled-in application. The exam conducting body will try to adjust the first and second preference of the test centre.

While going for the examination, the candidates are advised to get themselves vaccinated for safety. Also, other details concerning centres and Protocols will be notified shortly. Earlier, CLAT 2021 exam was scheduled to be conducted on 13th June 2021. As various other major examinations in the country have been postponed, students have urged to postpone CLAT 2021 exam too. The authorities also extended the last date to apply for CLAT 2021 exam from 31st March to 30th April 2021.

About CLAT

The Common Law Admission Test is a national-level law entrance exam. It is conducted for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes offered by the 22 national law universities (NLUs) and many other CLAT affiliated law colleges and universities. The NLUs offer a combined intake of around 2,622 seats in 5-year integrated law programmes and more than 750 seats in LLM programmes.
