Both of these subjects can be chosen alongside Computer Science, providing students with a strong foundational skill set and ensuring vertical mobility for those aiming to deepen their expertise.

What is Applied Mathematics and Modern English?

Applied Mathematics and Modern English are the alternatives to core Mathematics and standard English, catering to a more functional and practical usage of key concepts of both subjects.

Applied Mathematics course caters to careers in non-stem fields, focusing more on practical applications of concepts such as financial mathematics, statistics and data analysis.

Modern English focuses on enhancing functional communication, contemporary language usage, and linguistic skills in practical contexts.

Additionally, the addition of the Bhutia Language for classes IX-X and XI-XII empowers CISCE’s commitment to promoting linguistic diversity and preserving regional heritage.
