CGBSE 10th and 12th Board Exam 2020 Postponed: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has postponed the Chhattisgarh Board class 10 and 2 examinations until further notice. The Board has postponed the examination for the class 10 and 12 students for the second time since the lockdown has been announced. Earlier although the board decided to conduct the postponed examinations from May 4, 2020, with the COVID-19 lockdown being extended the board has further extended the examination schedule. Exams to be held between 4th and 8th May Postponed
Earlier, the Chhattisgarh Board has announced that the pending papers of 10th and 12th Class students will be held from 4th May 2020 to 8th May 2020. The revised exam schedule was released by the CGBSE Board keeping in mind the then situation regarding the COVID-19 lockdown. However, now with the lockdown end date approaching, the government seems to continue the lockdown beyond deadline of 3rd May 2020 atleast in the hotspot areas. Therefore, CGBSE has decided to postpone the pending 10th and 12th Class Exam until further notice.
Exams Only Postponed, not Cancelled
Students must note an important point that the Chhattisgarh Board Exam 2020 and the pending papers for 10th and 12th class students have only been cancelled. Earlier, there were rumours that the CGBSE Board has decided to cancel the CG Board 10th and 12th Exam 2020. However, the board has completely refuted these claims and instead released notification confirming that the exams have only been postponed for now and will sure be held at a later date.
