CBSE Warns Parents against Fraud Scheme: CBSE Board has released a new notification warning students and parents about fraudsters who are posing as Board Officials and demanding money from them in lieu of increasing marks in the CBSE Board Result 2020. In a notification issued on 28th May 2020 – Thursday, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued a public advisory that warned students and parents against Fraudsters. The board has asked students and parents to to “remain alert and vigilant” and report such fraudsters to police authorities as soon as they try to contact them.

The official notification issued by CBSE Board has noted that some parents and students have been approached by fraudsters who claim to be CBSE officials and demand money from them for improving the marks or score in the upcoming board exams. The scamsters share some general details about the students with parents, which convinces them that they are indeed from the board and inturn can help them improve the score in final results. The board said that the details being shared by the individuals are obtained from public domain and are used to scam parents and students. The notification also states that it will not be responsible for any fraudulent transactions done in its name.
Students, Parents asked to be Vigilant
The public advisory issued by the board has requested students and parents to remain vigilant against such scamsters and not fall prey to their lies and deception. Instead, the board has asked general public and especially students and parents to report any such person who is claiming to be a CBSE official to police authorities.
