Eligibility Criteria for CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2025
To be eligible for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2025, the following conditions must be met:
- Academic Performance: Applicants must have scored at least 60% marks in the CBSE Class 10 exam.
- Meritorious Female Students: The scholarship is available only to female students who are the single child of their parents.
- Current Enrollment: Students must be currently enrolled in class 11 or 12 under the CBSE system.
- School Tuition Fees: The monthly tuition fee should be less than Rs 1,500 during the academic year. A maximum annual increase of 10% in the fees is allowed for the following two years.
- NRI Students: NRI students are eligible, provided their school’s tuition fees do not exceed Rs 6,000 per month.
- Nationality: The scholarship is available only to Indian nationals.
CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship Amount
The scholarship provides a financial assistance of Rs 500 per month. Applicants must submit their bank details, including the name of the bank, account number, RTGS/NEFT information, IFSC code, and the bank’s address. It is essential that candidates sign their application form, as any unsigned forms will be rejected.

CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2025 Schemes
Eligible students can apply for the scholarship under two categories:
- Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2025: This scholarship is available to female students who have passed their Class 10 exams in 2025 from CBSE-affiliated schools and are currently studying in Class 11.
Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2023 (Renewal 2025): This scheme is for students who were awarded the Single Girl Child Scholarship in 2023 and are applying for the renewal of their scholarship for the year 2025.
