CBSE Exam 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced that the CBSE Practical Exams 2025 for private students will be conducted from February 15 to March 15, 2025. These exams are for private candidates who were unable to complete their practical components in previous years due to reasons such as Repeat in Practical (RP), Repeat in Both Practical and Theory (RB), or Absence. Additionally, candidates who had applied for practical exams in 2022 will also be eligible to participate in these assessments.
CBSE Practical Exam 2025 Guidelines for Private Students
The CBSE has stated that the practical exams will only be conducted for subjects that include a practical component. For subjects without practicals, the marks will be determined based on the student's theory exam performance.
Private candidates will take their practical exams at the same centers as their theory exams. These centers will be assigned by CBSE, and candidates must adhere to the given schedule. Private students must contact their designated exam centers with a copy of their previous mark sheet or result and their CBSE admit card for 2025.
Important Instructions for Students
- Candidates must note down the date and time of their practical exams as informed by their assigned exam centers.
- Candidates should arrive on time to avoid any confusion or delays.
- The exam centers must upload students’ marks on the same day once the internal and external examiners sign the award lists.
CBSE Guidelines for Examination Centers
CBSE has also provided strict instructions to examination centers:
- The center superintendent must prepare a class-wise and subject-wise list of students scheduled for practical exams.
- The superintendent should contact the regional CBSE office to appoint an external examiner, who must be assigned only by CBSE.
- The practical exam schedule will be set based on the availability of the external examiner, student convenience, and theory exam dates.
- Examination centers must inform students well in advance about their practical exam schedules.
