Teachers’ Capacity Building Programmes In AI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started capacity building programmes in Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence for teachers. This online awareness and capacity building programme is for the teachers who teach Information Technology to classes 9 to 10 students. The online programme gas started on 31st Mat at 10 am. Apart from classes 9 to 10, the CBSE has collaborated with IBM to train class 11 teachers in Artificial Intelligence (AI) as well.
About the Programme
The programme will be conducted in several batches from 2nd June and 14th July. Also, there is no registration fee for both programmes. Meanwhile, the registrations for the programme that started today has ended. Detailing about the programme, the Board informed, for the AI training programme, each session will be of three days. It will be based on the curriculum of CBSE class 12th. The training plan and invitation links will be emailed to the shortlisted teachers.
CBSE Young Warrior Movement
Earlier, the CBSE had urged students to join the Young Warrior Movement. It was initiated to engage youths in a series of easy and real-life tasks to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. It is a joint initiative of the CBSE, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, YuWaah-UNICEF and a multi-stakeholder consortium of over 950 partners. The board said that the movement will help young people “instill strong leadership skills, empathy as well as social consciousness amongst youth.
