CBSE 2025 Winter Bound School Practical Exam: The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued the dates for the practical exams and internal assessment of Class 10 and Class 12 students in winter-bound schools. As per the dates provided, the practical exams will be held from November 5 to December 5, 2024. The practicals are being held in November-December considering that schools in winter-bound areas will remain closed in January due to extreme cold weather. As per the dates, the internal exams for all other schools will begin on January 1, 2025.
The notification states, as per the provisions of examination laws/ schemes of studies of the board, the practical exams. Project. Internal assessment for the 2024-25 academic session is scheduled from January 1, 2025, for all affiliated schools in India and abroad. Winter-bound schools will however remain closed during January due to the winter season. The practical exams/ project/ internal assessment for 2024-25 class 10 and class 12 students for winter-bound schools will be held from November 5 to December 5 2024, the notification further reads.

The board has also issued standard operating procedures and guidelines for all the schools conducting the practical exams, including uploading marks, the appointment of examiners, unfair means, books book for the procedure for conducting exams and more.
CBSE Exam 2025: SOPs and Guidelines
- The practical exams/ project/ internal assessment will be conducted as per the SOPS and guidelines provided
- The practical exams/ project/ internal assessment for winter-bound schools will be conducted from November 5 to December 5, 2024
- The marks are to be uploaded simultaneously from the date of the f start of the practical exams and must be completed by the last date of the f exam.
- When uploading marks, the school principal, an internal examiner and the external examiner must ensure an error-free process and that correct marks are uploaded. No corrections will be allowed later
- The exams must be conducted in two or three sessions depending on the lab infrastructure available. schools
- Students found practising unfair means or attempting to communicate with examiners and influence them in any way must be reported.
- Of the schools do not adhere to the rules and regulations the board reserves the right to cancel the exams
- Payment of staff during the exam must be made through integrated payment systems only.
- Marks obtained will not be disclosed under any circumstances.
