The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has called the rumors about paper leaks for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams, false and baseless. The board assured students, parents, and educators that strict security measures are in place to ensure a fair and transparent examination process.
CBSE Exam Paper Leak Fake Rumour
The CBSE board vehemently denounced the reports of paper leaks that were making the rounds on sites like Facebook, YouTube, and X (previously Twitter). These fake claims have reportedly misled students by falsely promising access to the 2025 exam question papers. The public was reassured by the board that it had put in place comprehensive procedures to guarantee the tests, which began on February 15 and would run through April 4, 2025, would be conducted fairly and smoothly.
CBSE Paper Leak: Warning to Youtuber
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has warned against a false news video by YouTuber Zaki Saudagar. He runs a YouTube channel with over 600K subscribers, sharing videos on Physics and Physical Education for Class 11th and 12th.
In his video, he claimed that the CBSE board exams for 2025 were leaked. He specifically alleged that the Class 12 Physical Education exam, held on February 17, was leaked through the messaging app Telegram. He also said he received a link to a private Telegram group where the question paper was shared the night before the exam.
Legal Action Against Misinformation Spreaders
CBSE has warned that legal action will be taken against individuals spreading fake news. The board is actively collaborating with law enforcement agencies to track down the responsible. Any student or individual found guilty of spreading false information will be punished under CBSE’s Unfair Means (UFM) regulations and may also face legal consequences under the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
