The board has debunked the rumors calling it fake and misleading. The letter in question has caused panic among students appearing for their class 12 exams. To put the rumours to rest, the board has issued a clarification on social media.
The letter distributed comes in the format of a formal communication from the exam controller addressing the school heads and principals of schools affiliated with the board. The letter stated that considering the distress caused by farmers' protests the class 12 CBSE board exams have been deferred until further notice. The letter also includes information about the process of requesting changes in exam dates and exam centres.
