CBSE Board Exam 2025: Starting Today Dress Code, Guidelines, Hall Tickets & Allowed Items, Details Here
The CBSE Class 10 and 12 final exams will begin from today i.e., February 15. Class 10 students will take the English papers, while Class 12 students will appear for the Entrepreneurship paper, both from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The CBSE has issued guidelines covering exam ethics, including the dress code, allowed and banned items inside the exam hall, and penalties for unfair practices.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will start the Class 10 and 12 final exams on February 15. On the first day, Class 10 students will take the English (Communicative) and English (Language and Literature) papers from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, while Class 12 students will appear for the Entrepreneurship paper in the same shift. This year, around 44 lakh students from 8,000 schools in India and abroad are expected to sit for the exams. CBSE has also issued a notification covering exam ethics, including the dress code, allowed and banned items in the exam hall, and penalties for unfair practices (UFMs).

Instructions for Candidates:
- Admit Card: Ensure to carry your admit card and a valid school identity card (for regular students) or a government-issued photo ID (for private students).
- Before the Exam: Read the instructions on the question paper and answer the booklet carefully before starting.

- Transparent pouch, geometry box, blue/royal blue pen, scale, writing pad, eraser, analogue watch, transparent water bottle, metro card, bus pass, and money.
Items Not Allowed:
- Stationery items such as calculators, textual material, pen drives, log tables (provided by centers), electronic pens, scanners, etc.
- Communication devices like mobile phones, Bluetooth, earphones, smartwatches, and cameras.
- Wallets, goggles, handbags, and pouches.
- Eatables: Only diabetic students can bring eatables, otherwise, no food is allowed.
