CBSE Board Exam 2020 Postponed: Keeping in mind the volatile situation in Delhi, the Delhi High Court has asked CBSE to provide a long term plan for rescheduling of CBSE 10th and 12th Board Exam 2020 in violence hit areas of New Delhi. On Wednesday, Delhi HC directed the Central Board of Secondary Education to issue a long term plan of atleast 10 to 15 days to the students who are to appear for the board exam. The Delhi HC asked the Board to provide this plan to help students’ better plan their studies and appear for the CBSE 10th and 12th Board Exam 2020 with greater preparedness without being affected by the sensitive situation that prevails in the North East Delhi. CBSE Board is expected to announced a detailed plan for rescheduling of CBSE Board Exams in the region and announce new or revised dates for the exams today afternoon.
CBSE to Submit New Exam Plan by 2:15 PM
To ensure that students are provided infomraiton about the rescheduling or postponement of CBSE Board Exams 2020 at exam centres located in North East Delhi; the High Court has directed the board to submit a detailed plan by 2:15 PM on Wednesday afternoon. Delhi HC took note of the deteriorating law and order situation in the North East Delhi and directed the CBSE Board to prepare a long term plan of 10 to 15 days, to provide a level playing field to students who are appearing for the exam from North East Delhi.
CBSE Exams Postponed for 26th February 2020
Earlier on Tuesday, during late evening hours, following the direction of Delhi High Court, CBSE Board decided to postpone exams for 10th and 12th Class students scheduled to be held on 26th February 2020. The Board released a detailed exam notification confirming that board exams will not be held at 86 exam centres based in North East Delhi on Wednesday to ensure security of the students appearing for them. In addition to this, the board also released the list of schools or exam centres for which the board exams have been postponed in North Eastern Part of Delhi.
