Odisha Class 10 Board Exam 2024: The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha (BSE) commenced the Odisha Class 10 Board Exam 2024 today, February 20, 2024. The examination will conclude on March 4, 2024. The duration of the Class 10 Board Exam 2024 is 2 hours and 30 minutes. 

The Odisha Class 10 Board Exam 2024 will be conducted in two shifts. The morning shift will begin from 10 am to 12:30 pm. Meanwhile, the afternoon shift is scheduled from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Students appearing for the Class 10 Board Exam will be given 2 hours and 30 minutes to solve the question paper. Candidates must note that they will be given 15 minutes to read the question paper before the commencement of the examination. 

According to the latest findings, the Odisha government stated that the Class 10 dropout rate was 27% in the academic year 2021-22. Moreover, the overall dropout got reduced to 17% in the academic session 2022-23.

As per the latest data, about 5,51,611 students will appear for the Odisha Class 10 Board Exam 2024. To prevent cheating during the examination, the state government has installed AI-powered cameras in exam centres. High-quality CCTV cameras are installed in the DEO office and the examination hall. The authorities have also set up a command room with 7-8 persons for the operation of the AI cameras.

As part of the examination process, students appearing for the BSE Odisha Class 10 Board Exam 2024 are advised to follow these guidelines to maintain the integrity of the examination process.

• Students must carry Odisha HSC Class 10 Board Exam Admit Card 2024 and school ID to the exam centre
• Students are advised to reach the exam center at least an hour before the commencement of the exam
• Candidates must note that all rough work must be done on the writing pad provided by the invigilator
• Electronic devices such as mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, or any other objectionable item are prohibited inside the exam hall
• AI-powered cameras have been installed in strong rooms to keep a vigilant eye on students. Hence, candidates must not indulge in any kind of malpractice during the examination
