Bengaluru School Holiday: The Karnataka State Government has announced a public holiday for all government offices, schools and colleges including aided educational institutions for today, December 11, 2024. The Public holiday has been announced in honour of former CM SM Krishna who passed away today, December 10, 2024. The state will be observing a three-day mourning period from December 10 to 12, 2024.
Holiday Announced for Schools, Colleges on December 11
Karnataka state government has declared a holiday for schools, colleges government offices and institutions for today, December 11, 2024, in honour of SM Krishna. He will be cremated at his village in Mandya District with full state honours.
Government Announced 3 Day State Mourning
During the three-day mourning period announced, the national flag will fly at half mast at all government offices and no cultural events will be conducted.
