Assam Board Class 12 HS Exam 2024: The Assam Higher Secondary (HS) Class 12 Exam 2024 commenced today, February 12, 2024. As per the class 12 board exam timetable, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will conclude the examination on March 13, 2024.
Candidates appearing for the Assam HS Exam 2024 are required to carry their Assam HS Class 12 Admit Card 2024 and school ID card to the exam centre. The Assam Board HS Class 12 Exam 2024 will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift is scheduled from 9 am to 12 noon. Meanwhile, the second shift will be held from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
The duration of the Assam HS Class 12 Board Exam 2024 is 3 hours. Candidates will be given an extra 15 minutes to read the question paper before the examination starts. Students must note that they should not resort to any unfair practices. In case a student is found with any objectionable item, strict action will be taken against the candidate.

Candidates appearing for the Assam Class 12 Board Exam 2024 must go through the following instructions to avoid hassle.
- Candidates are required to reach the examination centre at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the Assam HS Class 12 Board Examination 2024
- Candidates must carry their Assam HS Class 12 Admit Card 2024 and school identity card to the examination centre
- Students are allowed to carry only basic stationery items. They must do all the rough work on the writing pad provided by the invigilator
- Students are not allowed to carry any electronic devices like mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, smart watches, or electronic watches inside the exam hall
Assam Board HS Class 12 Exam 2024: Passing Marks
Candidates are required to obtain a minimum score of 30% in each subject to pass the Assam Class 12 Board Exam 2024. To qualify the Board Exam overall, candidates are expected to both theory and practical examinations. The minimum pass percentage for theory exams is 30% while, 50% for practical exams.
