AP Sankranti Holidays 2024: Compensatory Classes For Extended Sankranti Break
The notice issued by the Andhra government mentions that all District Education Officers are instructed to conduct compensatory classes instead of the extended Sankranti break. These classes can be conducted during the upcoming General holidays in the Academic Session 2023-24. As per local reports, the responsible officials must instruct all headmasters of all government, private, ZPP/MPP, aided, and un-aided schools in the state to abide by these instructions.
It is also likely that the educational institutions in the state might be given a holiday on January 22, 2024, given the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Goa governments have declared a public holiday for all educational institutions and government offices in their respective states for the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Ram Janmbhoomi.
