AKTU Semester Exam 2022 Postponed: With COVID-19 cases continuing to rise across the country, including Uttar Pradesh, the State’s biggest technical university AKTU has decided to postpone its upcoming Semester Exams. Yes, AKTU Semester Exam 2022 for the 1st and 2nd Semester Students which were scheduled to be held in February month, have been postponed for now. The decision has been taken by the varsity, keeping in mind the safety and health of the students amid rapidly increasing COVID-1 cases. Along with this, the varsity has also informed students, that now, AKTU 1st and 2nd Semester Exams will be held in March 2022, after due review of the pandemic situation.

Official Notification Confirms Postponement of Semester Exams

Since last few week, concerned students and parents had demanded postponement of upcoming AKTU semester exam 2022 or had requested the varsity to hold the same in online or virtual format. Due to this, several rumours and speculations about AKTU exams being cancelled or postponed were also found to be floating around on various social media platforms. In the light of this, to clear any air of confusion among the students, the varsity has issued an official notification confirming postponement of AKTU Semester Exam 2022.

The official notice published by AKTU in this regards reads “The semester exams which were scheduled in the month of February stands postponed. If the Covid-19 situation improves, these exams will be conducted by the institutions in mid-March.”

Online Classes to Continue until March 2022

Along with announcing postponement of AKTU Semester Exam 2022, the university has also directed all departments and colleges to continue online classes until March 2022. As of now, the university has permitted classes to be held online, but has not provided any clarity about the exam format and mode and if it would be held in online format or not. Earlier, the university conducted regular and carry over-exams of the odd semester for the undergraduate and postgraduate students in offline mode. On similar lines, AKTU odd semester exam 2021 was held in offline mode from 28th January to 15th January 2022.
