AISSEE 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the schedule for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam (AISSEE) 2025-26. The entrance exam is conducted for students seeking admission to Class 6 and Class 9 in Sainik Schools and newly established Sainik Schools across India.
As per the official notification, the AISSEE 2025 will be held on April 5, 2025 (Saturday), in pen-and-paper mode using OMR sheets. The exam is designed to assess students on subjects such as mathematics, general knowledge, language, and intelligence.
AISSEE 2025: Admission Process
After qualifying for the entrance exam, candidates will have to participate in an e-counseling process, where they will be allotted seats based on their rank, preference, and availability of seats in Sainik Schools. The admission process will also include a medical examination to ensure that students meet the physical standards required for admission.
Currently, there are 33 Sainik Schools across India, functioning under the Ministry of Defence, with a curriculum focused on preparing students for careers in the armed forces. The newly established New Sainik Schools, introduced under a partnership model, also offer similar training with additional focus areas.
